Srdečně zveme na přednášku Sarah Mock: Seoul (non)fiction
ateliér Intermédií III
začátek: 16:30
Videoartist
Sarah Mock is presenting: her video The
Deluge/ 대홍수/Die
Flut,
a short lecture about the political situation in South Korea, and
answers to the question: what about artist residency in Seoul? Sarah
Mock completed her Masters at the University of Fine Arts, Berlin,
and previously studied under Bjørn Melhus in Kassel and Dieter
Kiessling in Mainz. Her surrealistic videos and installations
intervene with the relationships between culture, the artificiality
of urban spaces, and the subconscious. She has presented works at
many exhibitions and filmfestivals, amongst others the Exhibition
Hall of Germany in Bonn, at the Athens Video Art Festival and Haus
der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. Sarah Mock was recipient of the
Emy-Roeder Preis in 2014, the Heinrich Vetter Foundation Mannheim Art
Prize in 2013 and the Gutenberg award of the City of Mainz in
2012. In summer 2014, she was resident
in the Seoul Art Space_Geumcheon.
